Leaderboarded alternatives in 2026
Teams leave Leaderboarded for three main reasons: someone has to type the scores in, it is a leaderboard, not a programme, and sales is one audience among several. The strongest alternatives are Sales Gamification for teams that want the programme designed rather than configured, and — depending on what you need — Spinify or SalesScreen. Every figure below was read from vendor sources on 24 July 2026.
The reasons
Why teams look past Leaderboarded
Someone has to type the scores in
No CRM integration is published, so the board is updated by hand or by CSV import. At $39 a month that is a genuine bargain until you price the twenty minutes a day somebody spends keeping it current, and until the week they are away and the board goes stale.
It is a leaderboard, not a programme
You get a ranked list, and a good one. What is not there is the layer around it: what to score and how to weight it, guardrails against padding, a fairness correction for uneven territories, competition rules and tie-breaks. Those decisions stay with the manager.
Sales is one audience among several
Its own solutions list runs leaderboards, sales teams, goal trackers, fundraising thermometers, scoresheets and classroom timers. That breadth is why it is cheap and flexible, and also why the sales-specific depth is shallower than a dedicated platform.

Which to choose
Straight answers, both directions
There are situations where Leaderboarded is the better choice. Here they are.
Choose Leaderboarded if
- You want a shared scoreboard running this afternoon and are happy to keep it updated yourself.
- The scores do not come from a CRM at all — an event, a fundraiser, a classroom, a floor challenge.
- Budget is the binding constraint: at $39 a month for up to a thousand participants per board, nothing in this comparison is cheaper.
Choose Sales Gamification if
- The numbers already live in HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, and you do not want anyone retyping them.
- You want the scoring model, fairness calibration and anti-gaming guardrails decided rather than left blank.
- You need competitions with rules, tie-breaks and prize splits, not only a ranked list.
Moving across
Straightforward in both directions, because there is little configuration to carry across. Export the current board, connect the CRM, and let Blueprint propose weights from your pipeline — most teams find the hand-maintained board was scoring one or two things that were easy to count rather than the things that actually preceded their wins.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Leaderboarded alternative?+
It depends on what pushed you to look. If it was the per-seat cost or the setup burden, Sales Gamification's flat team pricing and AI onboarding address both directly. If you specifically need Leaderboarded's deepest capability — you want a shared scoreboard running this afternoon and are happy to keep it updated yourself. — then staying is the right call.
How much does Leaderboarded cost?+
Priced per board and per participant rather than per seat, so the monthly cost does not move with headcount. A no-cost tier covers two boards and 25 participants. Annual billing is advertised as saving up to 60%. Prices are in US dollars excluding taxes. Verified 24 July 2026.
Does Leaderboarded have a seat minimum?+
Leaderboarded's published seat floor is none. Sales Gamification has no seat minimum on any plan, because the price is per team rather than per seat.
How are these comparisons compiled?+
Every figure is read from the vendor's own published material on the date recorded, never from a third-party summary, and each entry links its source. Our own product is included and labelled throughout. The full method is published at https://salesgamification.io/methodology.
