How We Compare and Rank Software
Every comparison, alternatives guide and ranking on this site follows the same rules. We publish them because our own product appears in those pages, and you deserve to know exactly how that sausage is made.
The rules
- We disclose ourselves, every time. When Sales Gamification appears in a list or comparison, it's labeled as our product in that page, not just here.
- Rankings are segment-based, not absolute. A free browser tool and an enterprise coaching platform aren't competing for the same buyer. We rank by fit — team size, budget, CRM requirements — and we say plainly when a competitor is the better choice, including for segments we can't serve (teams that need CRM auto-sync today should buy a paid platform, and our pages say so).
- Pricing claims carry dates and hedges. Vendor pricing changes constantly and some vendors publish none at all. Everything we state is sourced from public vendor information, dated (currently: as of mid-2026), and paired with a "verify with the vendor" note. Compiled data lives in the Pricing Index.
- No invented numbers. No made-up review scores, user counts, engagement statistics or case studies — here or anywhere on this site. If we can't trace a number to a source, we don't print it.
- No pay-to-play. No vendor has paid for placement, and there are no affiliate links on this site. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
Corrections
Spot something outdated or wrong — especially about a competitor? Email hello@salesgamification.io and we'll fix it and note the correction. Fairness to the vendors we compare is the whole basis for trusting these pages.
