Blueprint · AI onboarding
AI onboarding that designs the program, not just the setup
Blueprint is the AI onboarding engine in Sales Gamification. It reads how your team sells, works out which activity actually precedes your wins, and returns a complete program — weighted scoring model, gaming-risk guardrails, fairness calibration, a first competition with a margin-sized prize pool, and a 30-day rollout plan — in about four minutes. Every number comes with the reasoning behind it, and it is included on every plan.
The reframe
Setup speed was never the bottleneck
Vendors in this category compete on configuration time. As of July 2026, Spinify states that the average team has a first leaderboard live in under four hours, and Hoopla's homepage leads with going live in 24 hours. Both numbers assume you already know your scoring model.
What they time
Configuration
- Connecting the CRM
- Mapping fields to metrics
- Picking a template from the library
- Naming the competition
- Putting the board on a screen
Mechanical work. Genuinely fast on a modern platform — and not the part that takes weeks.
What actually takes weeks
Decisions
- What should we measure — dials, meetings, pipeline, revenue?
- What is a demo worth relative to a dial?
- How do we stop the best territory winning every month?
- Which competition do we run first, and for how long?
- How do we keep it from being gamed?
Judgment work. Usually answered by a manager guessing, or by a customer success manager on a higher-priced tier. Blueprint answers it in four minutes, on every plan.
How it works
Seven passes over how your team sells
Each pass produces an artifact you can edit, and each states its reasoning — so you can defend the model to the team that has to live under it.
Pass 1
Pipeline read
Blueprint takes your pipeline stages, activity types and recent win history and works out which behaviour actually precedes wins on your team — not in a generic best-practice article.
Output
A named leading indicator, a reset cadence matched to your cycle, and the volume each rep needs to sustain current output.
Pass 2
Scoring model
Weighted point values for every activity, balanced between what a rep controls today and what closes next quarter. Each weight carries a one-line reason.
Output
An editable model, never a blank form — with the leading-to-lagging split calculated and explained.
Pass 3
Gaming-risk audit
Every metric scored for how easily it can be padded without doing the work. Dials are trivially inflated. Qualified meetings are not. The difference matters before you publish a board, not after.
Output
A ranked risk list with the specific guardrail that closes each hole — duration minimums, quality gates, weekly caps.
Pass 4
Fairness calibration
If one rep's book is three times the median, an absolute leaderboard is decided before the month starts. This is the single most common reason gamification programs die in month two.
Output
A ranking method sized to your actual spread — percentage-to-target, tiered brackets, or straight points when the team is genuinely even.
Pass 5
First competition
Format matched to your bottleneck, your team size and where you are in the quarter. Prize pool derived from incremental margin rather than picked out of the air.
Output
Rules, tie-breaks, prize split, break-even lift, and the announcement message ready to paste into Slack.
Pass 6
30-day rollout
Publishing the scoring model before the prize. The first callout. The mid-point reset. The week-two engagement dip, which always comes and is fixed by changing the frame rather than adding money.
Output
A dated plan with the reasoning for each beat, through to the month-end scoring review.
Pass 7
Coach, ongoing
Once the program is live, Coach watches the things a manager cannot check weekly by hand — measured against each rep's own baseline rather than the team average.
Output
Baseline drift, board staleness, metric saturation, participation cliffs and period-boundary spikes, each with the action to take.
What you get back
Two of the seven artifacts, as they arrive
Every number carries its reason, so the model is something you can defend to the team rather than something you have to justify.

Try it
Run Blueprint on your own team
This is the onboarding itself. Five screens, then the full program — the same output you get inside the workspace.
How many reps are on the team?
Everyone who would appear on the board.
What kind of selling do they do?
This decides which activities exist on your board at all.

Frequently asked questions
What is AI onboarding in sales gamification software?+
AI onboarding means the platform designs the gamification program rather than handing you an empty one to configure. Blueprint reads how your team sells and returns a weighted scoring model, fairness settings, anti-gaming guardrails, a first competition and a rollout plan — with the reasoning behind every number — in about four minutes.
How is this different from AI features in other gamification platforms?+
As of July 2026, the AI shipped in this category mostly generates content or monitors activity. Spinify's Sidekick is documented by Spinify as producing competition names, badges, achievements and announcement copy. SalesScreen's Scout AI does genuine analysis — reading each rep against their own baseline — but is a $5 per user per month add-on excluded from the entry tier, and Ambition bills AI at $5 and $4 per user per month on top of a $45 to $75 seat. Blueprint makes the setup decisions themselves, and is included on every plan.
How long does onboarding actually take?+
Blueprint takes about four minutes of answering questions, and the board is live the moment you save the result. What it removes is not clicking time — it is the weeks a manager spends deciding what to measure, how to weight it, and how to stop the same rep winning every month.
Can I change what Blueprint decides?+
Everything is editable. Point values, ranking method, competition format, duration, prize split and guardrails can all be adjusted, and the reasoning stays visible so you can see what you are overriding and why the original weight was set that way.
Does Blueprint work if my team is small?+
Yes, and the design decisions matter more at small scale. With six reps, one unfair leaderboard can disengage half the team in a fortnight. Blueprint sizes the competition format to the team — individual sprints below six reps, squads up to twenty, pods above that — and calibrates scoring so a ramping rep can still win.
What does Blueprint need to know about my team?+
Five short screens: team size and sales motion, which CRM you run and your typical cycle length, average deal value and deals per rep per month with gross margin, where the funnel is losing volume, and how spread out tenure and territory are. That is enough to design the program.
