Salesforce sales gamification

Sales Gamification connects to Salesforce and scores your team on Opportunities, Tasks and Events, and Opportunity Stage transitions. Custom fields and custom objects can be scored directly, and Blueprint reads your stage model rather than assuming the standard one — which matters, because almost no Salesforce org runs the defaults unmodified.

What gets scored in Salesforce

Opportunities

Amount, stage, close date and forecast category drive outcome scoring.

Tasks and Events

Logged calls, emails and meetings feed activity scoring.

Leads

Lead conversion is scored separately from opportunity progress for teams with an SDR layer.

Custom fields and objects

Org-specific fields can be scored directly, so bespoke stage models and metrics work without translation.

Opportunity Stages

Blueprint reads your opportunity stages and maps each to a funnel step, then weights the model around the step losing volume.

Worth knowing about Salesforce

Nobody runs the default stage model

The standard Salesforce stage list survives in almost no production org — it gets renamed, extended or replaced within the first year. Blueprint reads your actual stage model and its conversion rates instead of mapping to the defaults, which is why the weights reflect your funnel rather than a generic one.

Competition ideas

Contests that only work with Salesforce data

Each of these depends on something Salesforce tracks natively, so they are worth running here specifically.

Stage velocity sprint

Stage velocity sprint

Opportunities advancing two or more stages

Rewards moving deals rather than creating them — the single most common gap in Salesforce-based scoring.

Lead conversion race

Lead conversion race

Leads converted to Opportunities

Keeps the SDR layer on its own scoreboard rather than competing against closers on revenue they cannot book.

Decision maker push

Decision maker push

Opportunities reaching Id. Decision Makers

Uses a standard Salesforce stage that most teams under-manage, and correlates strongly with enterprise win rates.

Setting it up

  1. 1

    Connect Salesforce

Authorise from your workspace. Access covers Opportunities, Tasks, Events, Leads and the custom fields you select.

  2. 2

    Map your stage model

Blueprint reads your actual Opportunity Stages, including custom ones, rather than assuming the Salesforce defaults.

  3. 3

    Select scored fields

Custom fields and objects can be added to the model, which most orgs need because their metrics are org-specific.

  4. 4

    Launch

Boards go live and re-rank as Tasks, Events and stage changes land.

Salesforce supplies the data; our gamification platform decides what it is worth. The same feed drives live sales leaderboard, sales competition software and sales floor displays, on what a whole team costs.

Frequently asked questions

Does Salesforce have built-in gamification?+

Salesforce provides reports, dashboards and forecasting, but no weighted activity scoring model, competition engine, streaks or TV boards. Gamification in a Salesforce org is normally an added platform rather than a native feature.

Can we score custom objects and fields?+

Yes. Most Salesforce orgs carry org-specific fields that matter more than the standard ones, so custom fields and objects can be added to the scoring model directly rather than approximated with a standard field.

Does it work with a custom Opportunity Stage model?+

Yes, and this is the normal case rather than the exception. Blueprint reads your actual stages and their conversion rates, then weights the model around the step where deals are stalling in your org.

How are SDRs handled alongside closers?+

On separate boards. Ranking an SDR against an AE on booked revenue is unfair by construction, since the SDR cannot book it. Lead conversion and meeting metrics score on their own board, which is a fairness decision Blueprint makes for you when it sees the team shape.

Run your Salesforce data through Blueprint

Blueprint reads your opportunity stages, weights the scoring model around where the funnel is losing volume, and hands you a competition ready to launch.
