What this covers

This policy explains what data Sales Gamification collects when you use salesgamification.io and the product, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Data you give us

  • Workspace data. Rep names or identifiers, activity events, scoring configuration, competitions and the results of Blueprint runs.
  • Integration data. Where you connect a CRM or chat tool, the objects needed to score your board — listed explicitly on each integration page.
  • Contact details. Anything you send us by email.

Data collected automatically

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, and aggregate usage analytics that tell us which pages and features are used. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build cross-site profiles.

How we use it

To operate your workspace, run the scoring and competition engine, provide support, keep the service secure, and improve the product in aggregate. We do not sell data, and we do not use your workspace data to train models.

Who we share it with

Only the infrastructure providers required to run the service — hosting, storage and email delivery — each bound by contract to handle data on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where legally compelled, and we will tell you unless prohibited from doing so.

Retention

Workspace data is retained while your workspace is active. On deletion request, workspace data is removed and we confirm when it is done. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes and then discarded.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, export in a structured format, or deletion. Depending on where you are, you may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing. Email hello@salesgamification.io and we will respond.

Data about your reps

Where you upload data about your team members, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf. That means it is your responsibility to have a lawful basis for providing it and to tell your team what is being tracked. We would encourage the latter regardless — a leaderboard people did not know they were on is a bad leaderboard.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your workspace preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and note the change in the changelog.
