Spinify vs SalesScreen: sales gamification compared

SalesScreen advertises the lower entry price and Spinify is usually the cheaper platform. SalesScreen's $15 Essentials tier excludes both Scout AI and Salesforce, so a team that needs either is buying Scale at $25 to $30 per seat plus a $5 AI add-on. Spinify's single Business plan is $25 per seat with every integration and all three AI agents already in it.

Neither of these is our product. This page exists because the two get shortlisted against each other constantly and the published prices do not compare like for like. Every figure below was read from each vendor's own rendered pricing page on 24 July 2026; where a vendor contradicts itself, both numbers are shown rather than one being picked.

The money

What each one costs at matched capability

Spinify's single Business plan against the cheapest SalesScreen tier that carries Scout AI, because that is the closest the two products get to being the same purchase.

Spinify Business, billed annually, all three AI agents included · SalesScreen Scale plus the $5 per user Scout AI add-on, annual commitment. The Scale rate is shown as a range because SalesScreen's pricing page states both figures.
Team sizeSpinifySalesScreenDifference
10 reps$250/mo$300$350/moSpinify cheaper by $50$100
25 reps$625/mo$750$875/moSpinify cheaper by $125$250
50 reps$1,250/mo$1,500$1,750/moSpinify cheaper by $250$500

SalesScreen is the cheaper of the two only at its Essentials tier, and Essentials is the tier that carries neither Scout AI nor a Salesforce connector. Once the capability is matched, the ordering reverses at every team size. Teams under ten reps cannot make this comparison at all — Scale has a ten-seat floor, so Essentials is the only tier open to them.

Both vendors sit in the Pricing Index with their sources and verification dates, and the rules these figures follow are published in how we compare software.

The differences

Where the two genuinely diverge

Feature lists make these platforms look interchangeable. These five points are where the choice is actually decided.

1

What the AI actually does

Spinify
Sidekick is documented in Spinify's own knowledge base as generating competition names, themes, badges, achievements and announcement copy.
SalesScreen
Scout AI reads each rep against their own historical baseline rather than a team average and surfaces drift. Its copy still carries beta language.

These are not two versions of one feature. Spinify's AI removes writing work; SalesScreen's AI reads performance. A team that already knows what to measure gets more from Spinify's. A manager who wants to be told which rep is slipping gets more from SalesScreen's — and pays $5 per seat per month for it.

2

What the entry tier leaves out

Spinify
One plan. Every feature, every integration and all three AI agents are in it at $25 per seat annually, or $30 billed monthly.
SalesScreen
Essentials at $15 per seat carries neither Scout AI nor premium connectors. Salesforce is an add-on on Scale and limited to one premium integration on Pro.

Comparing $15 with $25 compares different products. Matched on capability, SalesScreen is the more expensive of the two, not the cheaper one.

3

How small a team can be

Spinify
Five users on Business, with a self-serve signup path.
SalesScreen
Ten users on Scale and fifteen on Pro. Below ten, the only tier available is Essentials.

A seven-rep team cannot buy the SalesScreen tier that has the AI in it. That is a hard exclusion rather than a pricing preference, and it decides the comparison for small teams before any feature gets weighed.

4

Commitment

Spinify
Monthly billing is available, at $30 per seat instead of $25.
SalesScreen
Annual commitment. The 30-day trial on Essentials is a genuine self-serve trial with no card required.

Spinify lets you pay a 20% premium to avoid a year-long commitment. SalesScreen does not offer that trade, but it does let you use the entry tier for a month before committing.

5

Whether you can read the price at all

Spinify
Prices are injected by JavaScript and absent from the served HTML, so the pricing page renders blank without scripts and third-party sites still republish a retired price book.
SalesScreen
The served HTML ships '$00 per user / month' placeholders. The page's own schema markup and its script disagree by $5 on the middle tier.

Both make their pricing hard to verify, and both should be checked against a quote rather than a summary — including this one. Every figure here was read from the rendered pages on the date shown.

Which to choose

Straight answers, both directions

Each of these platforms wins outright in situations the other cannot serve.

Choose Spinify if

  • Your team is under ten reps, which puts SalesScreen's AI tier out of reach entirely.
  • You want one plan with no tier arithmetic, and you already know what your scoring model should measure.
  • You want to avoid an annual commitment and will pay the monthly premium to do it.
  • You sell real estate — Spinify runs a dedicated edition with vertical-specific connectors.

Choose SalesScreen if

  • You want per-rep baseline analysis rather than generated competition copy, and will pay the add-on for it.
  • You have at least ten reps, so Scale is actually available to you.
  • You need ISO 27001 specifically.
  • You want to try the product properly before committing — the 30-day Essentials trial needs no card.

If your team is under ten reps, neither answer is clean

our product

SalesScreen's AI tier starts at ten seats and Spinify's plan starts at five, so a small team is choosing between a tier with the AI removed and a per-seat bill that grows with every hire. That is the gap our own product was built for: our gamification platform is sold at what a whole team costs $49 a month for up to ten seats with no seat floor, AI onboarding on every plan, and monthly billing. We include ourselves in every comparison we publish and label it wherever it appears.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spinify or SalesScreen cheaper?+

SalesScreen advertises the lower entry price at $15 per user per month, but that Essentials tier excludes Scout AI and premium connectors including Salesforce. Matched on capability — Spinify Business against SalesScreen Scale plus the $5 Scout AI add-on — Spinify is cheaper at every team size, by $50 to $100 a month at 10 reps and $250 to $500 at 50. Verified 24 July 2026.

What is the difference between Spinify Sidekick and SalesScreen Scout AI?+

They do different jobs. Spinify documents Sidekick as a generative tool that produces competition names, themes, badges, achievements and announcement copy. SalesScreen's Scout AI reads each rep against their own historical baseline rather than a team average and surfaces drift. Sidekick removes writing work; Scout reads performance. Sidekick is included in Spinify's plan, and Scout is a $5 per user per month add-on unavailable on SalesScreen's entry tier.

Can a team of five use SalesScreen?+

Only on Essentials. SalesScreen's published seat floor is 10 users on scale; 15 on pro, so Scale and Pro are closed to a five-rep team — and Scale is the cheapest tier that offers Scout AI. Spinify's floor is five users on Business, which is the whole plan. Sales Gamification has no seat floor on any tier because the price is per team.

Do Spinify and SalesScreen publish their prices?+

Both publish figures, and both make them awkward to verify. Spinify injects prices with JavaScript, so the pricing page renders blank without scripts and third-party sites still republish a retired price book. SalesScreen ships '$00 per user / month' placeholders in its served HTML, and its schema markup disagrees with its own script by $5 on the middle tier. Check any figure against a quote before signing, including the ones here.

How was this comparison compiled?+

Every figure was read from each vendor's own rendered pricing page and documentation on 24 July 2026, never from a third-party summary, and each vendor entry links its sources. Where a vendor contradicts itself, both figures are shown rather than one being chosen. The full method is published at https://salesgamification.io/methodology.
